Eine außergewöhnliche Rauchbombe, für die, die rauchigen Whisky mögen. Sehr angenhmer und langer Abgang, sehr kräftig.

WOW, muss man probiert haben

Nose: Immense industrial and unctuous complexity: strong tar, ink, and petrichor, followed by motor oil and fatty bacon, layered with petrochemical notes (petroleum, gasoline, gas station) and a healthy dose of swamp and earthy peat. Red fruit candy, smoked salmon, burning forest, fermented herbs, soy sauce, oyster sauce, rubber, fertilizer, leather, dried fruit, strawberry, chocolate, ripe plums, mineral notes... it goes on and on. Extremely assertive. Taste: The sherry influence partially masks the peat, as often happens with heavily sherried and heavily peated whiskies. Smoked red fruits and old leather coated in chocolate and olive oil float in seaside diesel. Funky, artisanal touches that are hard to pinpoint (old farm tractor?). The oak is very present, but in an unusual, almost synthetic way: woody and raw, mixed with sawdust. It's not something everyone will appreciate. There are charred, funky nuances everywhere: tarred ropes, licorice candy, seaside bonfires, stale coffee, cigar ash, old PX. Maritime notes emerge (grilled sardines, rotten seaweed) along with spices and herbs: ginger, mint, bitter almond, red wine. Very creamy. Finish: Very long. Very chewy. Burnt caramel, rotten fruit, brown sugar, orange peel, seawater, gasoline, blackberries, coffee, leather, tobacco, cloves, salted olives, strawberry candy, sweet popcorn, cured lard, smoked paprika, conglomerate wood. Very dry, oily, and sugary.
